God created man and woman to be together. But even more than that, He created husband and wife to "become one flesh." God calls us to leave the things of our past and cling to our spouse, which is not always easy. On the day we entered into our marriage covenant, we chose something greater than ourselves — we chose selfless, sacrificial love.
